Thousands of pro-Palestine demonstrators rallied in Washington D.C. on Saturday, as weeks of rallies demanding an end to the Gaza conflict continued.

Angered by recent US-led attacks on Houthi targets in Yemen, the situation deteriorated into a brawl on Saturday night, with protestors pushing on a reinforced barrier and hurling items at police officers and Secret Service members.

Protesters outside the White House on Saturday screamed “hands off Yemen!” and waved Palestinian flags. The protests were part of a worldwide day of protest as the Gaza conflict approaches its 100th day.

Wid Lyman, an on-the-ground reporter, took video of an increasingly tense scenario, with dozens of demonstrators pushing against a reinforced fence on the White House perimeter. Members of the public were also spotted hurling things at police officers and Secret Service agents.

Others were heard chanting “break it down” as more demonstrators tried to jump the barrier. As demonstrators knocked on the outside gate, they yelled “no justice, no peace” and “f**k you!”

At one time, police from the D.C. Metropolitan Police Department could be seen putting out a fire that had been started near the perimeter.

The demonstrators were eventually dispersed.

At one point, D.C. Metropolitan Police officers could be seen stamping out a fire that had been set close to the perimeter.

The protesters were later dispersed.

“The crowd is now mostly gone. Here’s the aftermath of all the different items people in the crowd threw at DC police and Secret Service who were guarding the White House,” reported Townhall’s Julio Rosas.

Rosas later added that he did not observe any arrests.

The Pro-Hamas protests have been generously bankrolled by Marxist financiers, raising questions of interstate racketeering to commit crimes.

A Connecticut-born internet billionaire and his activist wife have been sponsoring the organization that is organizing pro-Palestine marches throughout the United States, the Daily Mail reported in November.

Neville Roy Singham, 69, and his girlfriend Jodie Evans, 69, have invested at least $20 million in the company, which is a significant backer of left-wing causes in the United States, including a global network of pro-China propaganda and anti-Israel marches.

Singham, who was investigated by the FBI in the 1970s for ‘hostile’ links in the US, has been the People’s Forum’s primary donor since 2017.

Since October 7, the business has co-organized at least four pro-Palestine rallies.

According to the Free Press, between 2017 and 2022, the Marxist couple gave more than $20.4 million to The People’s Forum. The funds were routed via dummy companies and consulting groups.

Anti-Israel funding has also appeared on forums like Craigslist, where a now-deleted November ad read: “We are looking for 5-7 actors or activists to hold panels and distribute flyers in front of a venue as a peaceful, legal protest. Needed for November 24th, evening, 2-3 hours, paying $30/hour.”

Nov. 24 was the same day, of course, as the pro-Palestine “shut down” protests, where 34 were arrested trying to disrupt the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade and Black Friday sales.

“They’re paying for protestors to try and lend credibility to their movement,” says Ward.  “Oct. 7 was just stage one.  These carefully-crafted and controlled protests are a public relations campaign, and I think are the real objective.

“They are really an attack on Western democracy and Western values. Our way of life is literally being challenged here.  And we are in danger.”
