Rapper 50 Cent has had a storied and tumultuous track record when it comes to backing Donald Trump.

But on Friday, the legendary rap star found another reason to reject Democrat policies and consider throwing his support behind former President Donald Trump.

“WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works,” he said on Instagram. “Somebody explain. [Ari Melber] can’t explain this, I’m stuck maybe TRUMP is the answer.”

In mid-October 2021, 50 Cent, born Curtis Jackson, made waves in the rap world and throughout the country by endorsing Donald Trump.

As reported by People, “The rapper, 45, posted a photo to Instagram of a television broadcast from CNBC’s Power Lunch that showed top tax rates per state under Democratic candidate Joe Biden‘s proposed tax plan. 50 Cent (born Curtis Jackson III) expressed shock at how the tax rates would apply to him.”

“👀WHAT THE F—! (VOTE For TRUMP) IM OUT, 🏃‍♂️💨 F— NEW YORK The KNICKS never win anyway. 🤷🏽‍♂️ I don’t care Trump doesn’t like black people 62 percent are you out of ya f—— mind. 😤,” he wrote.

The Queens-born rapper also joked about why he opposed Biden’s tax policy.

“Yeah, i don’t want to be 20cent. 62% is a very, very,bad idea. i don’t like it !” he wrote on Twitter.

“Comedian” Chelsea Handler slammed 50 Cent for his Trump endorsement with a condescending statement that ignored Joe Biden’s history of racially insensitive remarks.

“He doesn’t want to pay 62 percent of taxes because he doesn’t want to go from 50 Cent to 20 Cent,” said Handler. “I had to remind him that he was a Black person, so he can’t vote for Donald Trump, and that he shouldn’t be influencing an entire swath of people who may listen to him because he’s worried about his own personal pocketbook.”

Just a week later, however, 50 Cent reversed course and coarsely took his Trump endorsement back.

The rapper tweeted with a video, “Fu*k Donald Trump, I never liked him. for all I know he had me set up and had my friend Angel Fernandez killed but that’s history. LOL.”

But 50 Cent isn’t the only rapper who is entertaining the idea of backing Trump in 2024.

On Friday, Rapper Killer Mike stunned comedian Bill Maher by refusing to back Joe Biden in his election race against Donald Trump.

Killer Mike dodged giving an answer to Maher’s repeated demands that he reveal which candidate he supported in the 2024 election.

The rap star eventually spelled out the terms under which he would back Biden, telling the president to take concrete measures that benefited Black people.

Maher argued that voters should care more about ideas than specific candidates, and then asked the rapper who he was voting “for” in 2024.

“I’m for black people. And Happy Black History Month,” Killer Mike said before appearing to reference his past support for socialist Independent Bernie Sanders.

“You can’t get yourself to say ‘vote for Biden over Trump?’” Maher asked.

Killer Mike wouldn’t take the bait.

“Can he get himself to apologize for the [1994] crime bill? Can he get himself to get his head out of his ass and say ‘black people, you are black regardless?”

“Can he pick a coalition of former people who were affected by drug law, street gangs, recidivism and crime and say ‘I need you as a board to advise me how to fix federal prisons’?”

“If he can do that, absolutely I can. So my challenge is out.”

Democrats are losing the Black community. Killer Mike isn’t the only rap star who can see that everyone was better of under Donald Trump. That includes rappers.

Donald Trump forged ties with the rap world by working with Ye and Kim Kardashian on criminal justice reform, helping to get A$AP Rocky out of a Swedish prison, and issuing presidential pardons to Lil Wayne and Kodak Black.

50 Cent recently slammed Democrats for NYC’s $53 million program to hand out pre-paid credit cards to illegal aliens.

“WTF mayor Adams call my phone, I don’t understand how this works somebody explain… I’m stuck maybe TRUMP is the answer.”
