Whistleblower Confirms: After Joe Biden ‘Stopped By’ Lunch Meeting, Chinese Paid Hunter’s Associate Millions

A Chinese company paid a Hunter Biden partner millions of dollars shortly after Joe Biden “stopped by” a 2017 lunch meeting involving business associates from China and the U.S., according to newly-released testimony.

Joe Biden briefly attended a 2017 private lunch meeting between Hunter Biden, Rob Walker and other business associates — including those from Chinese Communist Party (CCP)-linked energy firm CEFC — hosted at the Four Seasons hotel in Washington, D.C., Walker told the House Oversight and Accountability Committee on Jan. 26, according to a transcript of his testimony released Tuesday. A company connected to CEFC wired Walker’s LLC approximately $3 million not long after that meeting occurred, with a portion of those funds subsequently routed to members of the Biden family.

Walker characterized Joe Biden’s attendance as innocuous, brief and coincidental, asserting that no business matters were discussed in his presence, according to the transcript of his testimony. CEFC Chairman Ye Jianming, who has since disappeared, was at the lunch meeting, Walker said.

Once the CEFC-connected firm paid Walker the $3 million, he subsequently routed slightly more than $1 million to another business partner in a single transaction, he testified. However, Hunter Biden requested that Walker send him his cut of the payment in smaller installments, Walker said.

Walker Transcript by Nick Pope

The meeting was meant to help Hunter Biden and his associates “[discuss] ways we could work together” with the Chinese businessmen because there was not yet a “structured deal” between the two sides, Walker testified. Hunter Biden had initiated his business relationship with CEFC while Joe Biden was still the vice president under former President Barack Obama, according to Walker’s testimony.

Early in 2016, Walker, Hunter Biden and another business associate collectively decided that it would be best to write to CEFC Director Jian Jun Zang about potential deals using Hunter Biden’s letterhead because doing so “would probably make more sense,” Walker testified.

In his opening statement, Walker asserted that he believes the serious allegations that Hunter and Joe Biden were involved in a massive influence-peddling scheme to be “unfounded.”

Tony Bobulinski, another former Hunter Biden business partner, expressed a much less forgiving view of the Biden family’s business interests in the opening statement he provided to lawmakers as he testified behind closed doors in Washington on Tuesday.

“The Chinese Communist Party through its surrogate, China Energy Company Limited, or ‘CEFC’ – a CCP-linked Chinese energy conglomerate – successfully sought to infiltrate and compromise Joe Biden and the Obama-Biden White House,” Bobulinski told lawmakers, according to a transcript of his opening statement. “Joe Biden was more than a participant in and beneficiary of his family’s business; he was an enabler, despite being buffered by a complex scheme to maintain plausible deniability.”

“Joe Biden was aware of the CEFC transaction, enabled itHunter B and had a constitutional responsibility and obligation to the American people to shut it down before it began,” he said.

The White House and the Biden campaign did not respond immediately to requests for comment.

Republicans Blow Chance to Take Back PA House Due to Flood of Mail-in Ballots

Republicans Blow Chance to Take Back PA House Due to Flood of Mail-in Ballots

Pennsylvania House Democrats have won another special election, this time in suburban Philadelphia, which helps them maintain their narrow control of the state legislature.

The Associated Press called the Bucks County race for Democrat Jim Prokopiak, a local school board member, immediately after votes closed at 8 p.m. Prokopiak faced Republican Candace Cabanas, a home health care worker.

Former state Rep. John Galloway, a Democrat, resigned in December after being elected to a local judgeship, leaving the seat vacant.

Prokopiak is the sixth Democrat to win a special election since the commencement of the most recent legislative term, in January 2023.

During this time, the party has filled a half-dozen vacancies caused by a death, members winning other positions, and a resignation due to sexual harassment claims.

Greg Price explained on X how mail-in ballots were a key to the Democrats’ retention of the deep blue district on an Election Day that was hit with severe winter weather.

“There was a special election today in Bucks County, PA to determine control of the state House of Reps in a Biden+10 district,” Price noted.

“The race has been called for the Democrat over the Republican with 43% of the vote counted because he won the mail in vote 86%-14%.”

Conservative pundit End Wokeness expressed frustration at the Republicans’ loss of the Pennsylvania special election, as well as the New York special election race to replace ousted House Republican George Santos.

“Republicans lost 2 critical elections today. One was a US House seat (Santos seat). The other was control of the PA House,” End Wokeness noted. “Democrats outsmarted the GOP again with a strong mail-in & early voting operation.”

“The GOP was relying on strong Election Day turnout, but a snowstorm in the Northeast changed the equation,” the pundit continued. “We need to get smart. Fast. Or else we could easily blow 2024.”

Philly Burbs provided context on the race’s importance:

Democrats have the governor’s office. Republicans hold the Senate. A Republican win in next week’s special election would give the GOP a majority that could advance school vouchers and constitutional amendments on issues such as abortion, voter identification and curbing the governor’s regulatory authority.

It is the Republicans’ fourth chance in a year to flip the majority back to their favor. Elections last year in FebruaryMay and September broke in Democrats’ favor, in largely Democratic areas.

The Democrat was expected to win Tuesday’s election owing to the district’s political registration and voting history. The other five special elections won by Democrats shared similar voting profiles.

When Prokopiak assumes office, Democrats will retain 102 of the 203 seats in the lower chamber. The bare majority enables the party to control the agenda in the state House, advance their policies, such as raising the minimum wage and increasing education spending, and obstruct those they oppose, such as harsher abortion restrictions or making it easier to overturn state rules.

Overall, this victory strengthens the party’s — and Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro’s — position in upcoming budget negotiations.

The race’s short-term stakes were decreased last week when state Rep. Joe Adams (R., Pike) announced his resignation, giving the Democrats a one-vote majority.

House Republicans Have Impeached DHS Secretary Mayorkas for Failing America on Border Crisis

House Republicans took to social media Tuesday evening to celebrate the impeachment of Secretary of Homeland Security Alejandro Mayorkas.

The House of Representatives impeached Mayorkas by a 214-213 vote after agreeing to reconsider the resolution. The House previously voted against taking up the resolution on Feb. 6 after Republican Reps. Ken Buck of Colorado, Tom McClintock of California, Blake Moore of Utah and Mike Gallagher of Wisconsin voted “no.”

“Alejandro Mayorkas deserves to be impeached, and Congress has a constitutional obligation to do so,” House Speaker Mike Johnson posted on X, formerly known as Twitter.

“The House Committee on Homeland Security’s investigation and subsequent impeachment proceedings demonstrated beyond any doubt that Secretary Mayorkas has willfully and systemically refused to comply with the laws of the United States, and breached the public trust,” Republican Rep. Mark Green of Tennessee, chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, said in a statement. “As a result, our country has suffered from an unprecedented border crisis that has turned every state into a border state, causing untold suffering in communities across our country. With this vote, Congress has made clear that we will not tolerate such lawlessness.”

The House Homeland Security Committee released draft articles of impeachment in January, which included for “willful and systemic refusal to comply with the law” and “breach of the public trust.”

Republican Rep. Lauren Boebert of Colorado said in a statement she “voted to impeach Mayorkas for facilitating an invasion at our southern border and intentionally neglecting his most basic duties to protect the homeland and the American people.”

“Mayorkas has released more than 6.2 million illegals into our communities, including terrorists and criminals. Mayorkas has lied, he has violated 10 laws passed by Congress, and he has disregarded his oath to the Constitution,” she continued. “Today, the House of Representatives held this liar and rogue bureaucrat accountable to the American people.”

“When you violate your duty to the American people by knowingly facilitating an invasion, there must be consequences,” Republican Rep. Eli Crane of Arizona posted on X.

Mayorkas has claimed that the border is secure on multiple occasions, despite United States Customs and Border Protection (CBP) reporting more than 6.6 million encounters since the start of fiscal year 2021.

“House Republicans delivered accountability for the American people today when we impeached Alejandro Mayorkas for his willful and systemic refusal to comply with federal immigration laws and his breach of public trust,” Republican Rep. Elise Stefanik of New York posted on X.

“Secretary Mayorkas failed to uphold his duty to the Constitution,” Republican Rep. Tom Tiffany of Wisconsin posted. “He refused to enforce federal immigration laws. He lied to Congress and the American people. And now he is IMPEACHED.”

Democratic Candidate Beats Registered Democrat on GOP Ticket in NY Special Election

Former Democratic Rep. Tom Suozzi won the special election to replace ousted Republican Rep. George Santos of New York on Tuesday, according to The Associated Press.

Suozzi beat Republican nominee Mazi Melesa Pilip 58.7% to 41.3% for New York’s Third Congressional District, which represents part of Long Island, the AP projected at the time of writing. The former congressman previously held Santos’ seat for three terms until he unsuccessfully ran in the Democratic primary for governor in 2022.

The former congressman launched a bid for the seat in early October, roughly two months before Santos was expelled from office. Santos was ousted on Dec. 1 after he had racked up two indictments over allegations of fraud and a damning House Ethics Committee report was released.

Pilip had been serving as Nassau County legislator before she was selected to run for the seat in mid-December. The Republican immigrated to the U.S. after her time in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), according to the campaign’s website.

Democratic groups outspent the GOP in advertising for the race, and Suozzi also disbursed $1.6 million more than Pilip leading up to the special election, according to Federal Election Commission data. The former congressman brought in a total of $4.5 million during his time as a candidate, while Pilip raised $1.3 million.

The top issue among voters in the swing district, which went for President Joe Biden by eight points in 2020, was immigration. Republicans largely focused their ads on attacking Suozzi over the issue, while Democrats attempted to paint Pilip as a member of the “MAGA” movement.

Immigration continues to be front of mind to voters across the country, as the Biden administration has seen a record number of illegal border crossings. Americans tend to trust former President Donald Trump more to handle the issue than Biden.

A Siena College survey released on Feb. 8 found Suozzi leading Pilip 48% to 44% among likely voters, but the same poll found Trump five points ahead of Biden in the district. An earlier Emerson College poll indicated the former congressman had a three-point edge among registered voters, and was leading by 14 points when only those who were “very likely” to participate in the special election were included.

Judge in Trump RICO Case Suggests Fani Willis Could be DISQUALIFIED

Judge in Trump RICO Case Suggests Fani Willis Could be DISQUALIFIED

An Atlanta-area judge overseeing the election interference case against former President Donald Trump confirmed on Monday that he will hold a hearing on allegations that Fulton County District Attorney Fani T. Willis (D) had an inappropriate personal relationship with the lead prosecutor in the case.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee’s decision to hold an evidentiary hearing on Thursday is a setback for Willis, who had asked the judge to cancel the hearing and reject motions from Trump and other co-defendants seeking to disqualify her based on her claims of an inappropriate relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade.

“Specifically looking at defendant Roman’s motion, it alleges a personal relationship that resulted in a financial benefit to the district Attorney, and that is no longer a matter of complete speculation,” Judge McAfee stated. “The state has admitted a relationship existed, and so what remains to be proven is the existence and extent of any financial benefit. Again, if there even was one.”

“So because I think it’s possible that the facts alleged by the defendant could result in disqualification, I think an evidentiary hearing must occur to establish the record on those core allegations,” he added. “So just to emphasize, I think the issues that point here are whether a relationship existed.”

McAfee stated that an actual conflict or the appearance of one is sufficient grounds for excluding Willis from the case. However, he also stated that he would not hear testimony at the hearing regarding Wade’s claimed lack of qualifications for his position, noting that the district attorney has the discretion to hire anyone with “a heartbeat and a bar card.”

“I think it’s clear that disqualification can occur if evidence is produced demonstrating an actual conflict or the appearance of one,” McAfee said.

Fani Willis had recently admitted to having an intimate personal relationship with Special Prosecutor Nathan Wade. Witnesses have averred that the relationship began prior to Wade’s appointment to the post, whereas he lacks relevant experience and qualifications.

McAfee’s ruling comes more than a month after Mike Roman, a former Trump campaign aide and one of the former president’s co-defendants, said in a court document that Willis and Wade were participating in a “improper, clandestine personal relationship” that benefited both of them financially.

Roman argued Willis may have violated the law by employing Wade, an outside counsel with little expertise prosecuting criminal cases, and then enabling him to pay for “vacations across the world” with her that had nothing to do with their work on the case.

Willis acknowledged a personal relationship with Wade in a petition on February 2, but maintained that it compromised the proceedings. She also firmly refuted any allegations of impropriety, calling them “meritless” and “salacious,” and arguing that personal connections between lawyers “do not constitute impermissible conflicts of interest.”

“No funds paid to me in compensation for my role as Special Prosecutor have been shared with or provided to District Attorney Willis,” Wade claimed in the affidavit. “The District Attorney received no funds or personal financial gain from my position as Special Prosecutor.”

Fulton County D.A. Fani Willis is also feeling the heat from congressional scrutiny of her office’s alleged coordination with the House Select Committee on January 6 and the White House Counsel’s office.

On Feb. 2, the House Judiciary Committee issued a subpoena to Willis for records relating to her suspected misuse of federal funds in her indictment of former President Donald Trump. Willis refused to accept the subpoena when it was emailed to her, forcing the U.S. Marshals Service to serve it on her, according to a source familiar with the case.

The Daily Caller was able to independently verify that the U.S. Marshals Service had to serve the subpoena to Willis.

“Why wouldn’t Fani Willis just accept service like everyone else? Making the U.S. Marshal’s Service use taxpayer money to do this is a complete waste of time and resources. But we shouldn’t be surprised when it comes to her office,” a source familiar with the situation told the Daily Caller.

The House Judiciary Committee requested that Willis turn over all documents and communications relating to the Fulton County District Attorney’s Office’s receipt and use of federal funds from the Department of Justice’s Office of Justice Programs, Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, and Office of Community Oriented Policing Services.

The Daily Caller News Foundation reported extensively on Willis’ alleged misuse of government funds and inability to properly report it. As a result, Republican Georgia Lt. Governor Burt Jones formed a special committee to investigate Willis. The nonpartisan committee, comprised of six Republicans and three Democrats, will investigate Willis’ relationship with her lover Nathan Wade, as well as the potential misuse of taxpayer monies.

Willis admits to having a relationship with Wade, the special prosecutor she hired to investigate Trump’s election tampering case. Over the last few weeks, the Fulton County District Attorney has been accused of being Wade’s boyfriend and inappropriately benefiting from lucrative contracts awarded to him by her office.

“Fani Willis, the D.A. of Fulton County, just admitted to having a sexual relationship with the Prosecutor she, in consultation with the White House and DOJ, appointed to ‘GET PRESIDENT DONALD J. TRUMP,’” Trump posted. “By going after the most high level person, and the Republican Nominee, she was able to get her ‘lover’ much more money, almost a Million Dollars, than she would be able to get for the prosecution of any other person or individual. THAT MEANS THAT THIS SCAM IS TOTALLY DISCREDITED & OVER!”

VP Speculation Explodes When Donald Trump enters Mar-a-Lago with Vivek Ramaswamy

Donald Trump gets the attention of everyone whenever he walks into a room.

But it was striking to all when he brought along a rising political star: Vivek Ramaswamy.

The 2024 presidential candidate — who dropped out only to back Donald Trump — was in attendance at Mar-a-Lago for a Trumpette event on Saturday night, along with his wife Apoorva and former First Lady Melania Trump.

Upon entering the Mar-a-Lago chamber, Trump’s cadre was greeted with shouts of enthusiasm while festive music played in the background.

Political commentator Benny Johnson remarked on the footage: Donald Trump enters Mar-a-Lago with Vivek Ramaswamy.

“That’s the ticket!!!” Baroness von M replied.

“I wonder if vivek will be vice president? I have never been so impatient in my life to know who the vp pick is. Waiting sucks,” Sassafrass84 said.

“VP energy?” News Nomad remarked.

“I hope Trump picks Vivek for VP,” said an account named Deep State.

“Vivek as VP would be [fire],” commented Rasta Rocket.

“I hope this is the ticket: Trump/Vivek,” said Steven Hasty.

Vivek was also invited on stage to speak.

Trump supporter Laura Loomer provided more coverage.

“At the “Golden Evening for a Golden President” event at Mar a Lago tonight, @VivekGRamaswamy was introduced by President Trump when Trump realized he was at the event. They go well together. Electric energy when Trump and Vivek are together. I’m a big fan of this duo,” she wrote on X.

“Is driving me crazy, who is Trump going to pick to be his VP?” replied Molly Pitcher.

It looks like we will have to wait and see.

White House Reporter Makes Biden SNAP with Question on Cognitive Decline

Tucker Carlson Met Two Famous American Political Dissidents While in Moscow to Interview Putin

In a through-the-looking-glass moment, exiled independent journalist Tucker Carlson recently took to Moscow to interview Russian leader Vladimir Putin.

While in the heart of the former Soviet Union, the independent journalist met with two American political dissidents: NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden and Biden rape accuser Tara Reade.

On February 5th, Citizen Free Press reported that Tucker Carlson may potentially interview Edward Snowden and Tara Reade while in Moscow, based on video footage acquired by Russian news outlet Izvestia.

The Independent has since reported on this development, while citing the media outlet Semafor.

Tucker Carlson met with NSA leaker Edward Snowden while in Moscow, according to Semafor.

The former whistleblower featured heavily in Russian media before seeking more privacy in his family life.

Mr Snowden was initially granted asylum in Russia in 2013 after leaking a trove of classified National Security Agency (NSA) documents, and then was granted permanent resident status in Russia in 2020. That year, he announced his decision to seek duel citizenship, stating in a tweet that “after years of separation from our parents, my wife and I have no desire to be separated from our son.”

Carlson reportedly met Snowden for hours, but the meeting was not for his video programme, the outlet noted.

But Carlson did record an interview with Tara Reade, a former Senate aide who later accused President Joe Biden of sexual assault, which he has denied.

What is old has become new again, due to the repressive measures of the Biden regime. A dictatorial Russian leader is hosting exiled mainstream journalists who are then holding interviews with American political dissidents.

It is just another disturbing sign that we are turning into the United States of Soviet America.

White House Reporter Makes Biden SNAP with Question on Cognitive Decline

White House Reporter Makes Biden SNAP with Question on Cognitive Decline

Fox News correspondent Peter Doocy made President Joe Biden’s bad night even worse after the president was exposed as being senile by a Special Counsel report.

The Fox News reporter openly cast doubt on Biden’s cognitive ability. He cited Special Counsel Robert Hur’s decision not to charge the president with crimes for mishandling classified documents because a jury would likely find him to be a “well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory.

Doocy then directly asked President Biden, “Just how good is your memory, and can you continue as President?”

Biden erupted and lobbed a nasty retort at the reporter.

“My memory is so bad that I let you speak,” he shot back.

Doocy told primetime host Jesse Watters following the exchange that Biden’s mocking response to his inquiry failed to take seriously questions about whether he could continue to serve as commander-in-chief.

“I was asking him if his memory is so bad that he has to step down as president. That is a very straightforward, but hard and uncomfortable question, and so I wouldn’t expect him just to laugh if off. It’s a serious thing. He needs to convince people that he can go another five years when there’s already 388 pages of a special counsel [report] saying he’s got serious lapses in his memory,” Doocy said.

“I wasn’t expecting him to go in there and just laugh it off,” he added.

Biden also lashed out at a reporter at the press conference on Thursday night who asked a similar question of the president.

“Mr. President, for months, when you were asked about your age, you would respond with the words, ‘watch me, watch me.’ Many American people have been watching and they have expressed concerns about your age,” the reporter said.

“That is your judgment!” Biden bellowed. “That is your judgment! This is according to public, that is not the judgment.”

“They expressed concerns about your mental acuity,” the report added. “They say that you are too old. Mr. President, in December, you told me that you believe there are many other Democrats who could defeat Donald Trump. So why does it have to be you now? What is your answer to that question?”

“I’m the most qualified person in this country to be president of the United States and finish the job I started,” he retorted.

Joe Biden had earlier addressed the special counsel’s report by boasting that he had given a five hour interview over two days.

Special Counsel Robert Hur on Thursday released a report that found that Joe Biden “willfully” retained and disclosed highly classified materials while a private citizen, including documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan and other sensitive national security matters, but no criminal charges are warranted against him or anyone else.

Beyond Joe Biden’s unlawful retention and disclosure of highly classified information as a private citizen, Hur’s report details mortifying example of the current president’s lack of recall about events, including when he was vice president.

Hur’s report discusses an incident regarding classified information on the Afghan War and his discussions with a ghostwriter for his autobiography.

“In addition. Mr. Biden’s memory was significantly limited, both during his recorded interviews with the ghostwriter in 2017, and in his interview with our office in 2023. And his cooperation with our investigation, including by reporting to the government that the Afghanistan documents were in his Delaware garage, will likely convince some jurors that he made an innocent mistake, rather than acting willfully-that is, with intent to break the law-as the statute requires.”

The Justice department decided not to give much weight to Biden’s words due to his lack of memory recall.

“Given Mr. Biden’s limited precision and recall during his interviews with his ghostwriter and with our office, jurors may hesitate to place too much evidentiary weight on a single eight-word utterance to his ghostwriter about finding classified documents in Virginia, in the absence of other, more direct evidence. We searched for such additional evidence and found it wanting. In particular, no witness, photo, email, text message, or any other evidence conclusively places the Afghanistan documents at the Virginia home in 2017.”

Thus, the Special Counsel’s attorneys did not recommend charges, in part, because they deem that Biden might cut a sympathetic figure due to his frailty and senility.

“We have also considered that, at trial, Mr. Biden would likely present himself to a jury, as he did during our interview of him, as a sympathetic, well-meaning, elderly man with a poor memory. Based on our direct interactions with and observations of him, he is someone for whom many jurors will want to identify reasonable doubt. It would be difficult to convince a jury that they should convict him-by then a former president well into his eighties-of a serious felony that requires a mental state of willfulness. We conclude the evidence is not sufficient to convict, and we decline to recommend prosecution of Mr. Biden for his retention of the classified Afghanistan documents.”

This is, however, on its face, a more egregious offense than any facing Joe Biden’s election rival Donald Trump in his own classified documents case.

The worst passage from Hur’s report follows below:

“In his interview with our office, Mr. Biden’s memory was worse. He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (‘if it was 2013 – when did I stop being Vice President?’), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (‘in 2009, am I still Vice President?’). He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died. And his memory appeared hazy when describing the Afghanistan debate that was once so important to him. Among other things, he mistakenly said he ‘had a real difference’ of opinion with General Karl Eikenberry, when, in fact, Eikenberry was an ally whom Mr. Biden cited approvingly in his Thanksgiving memo to President Obama.”

While Joe Biden has struggled with memory throughout his presidency, often mixing up persons and places, he is now recalling events that didn’t even happen with world leaders who have long been dead.

During a fundraiser on Wednesday at the home of Maureen White, whose husband Steven Rattner manages billionaire former Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s fortune, Biden referenced the deceased German Chancellor Helmut Kohl.

“I showed up … and I sat down and said, ‘America’s back,’ and [French President Emmanuel] Macron looked at me and said, ‘For how long?’ How long? Not a joke,” Biden recalled, according to a pool report.

“Helmut Kohl said, ‘Joe, what would you think if you picked up the phone and picked up the paper tomorrow and learned in the London Times, on the front page, that 1,000 people stormed the Parliament, broke down the doors of the House of Commons and killed 2 bobbies in the process … trying to stop the election of a prime minister?’” he added.

U.S. President Joe Biden also told a nearly identical anecdote in Las Vegas that included long-deceased French leader François Mitterrand, who was in office from 1981 to 1995 and died in 1996, while confusing the nations of Germany and France.

“Right after I was elected, I went to a G7 meeting in southern England. And I sat down and said, ‘America is back!’ and Mitterand from Germany — I mean France — looked at me and said, ‘How long you back for?’” Biden retold.

The Democrat-supporting establishment press did its best to cover for the now-perpetually disoriented president — Politico calling the concerning mix-up a mere “slip of the tongue” — but Biden has now repeated the same mistake three times within a week.

The New York Post reports that Biden told the same story at a “stop at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel near Columbus Circle, for an event hosted by Dr. Ramon Tallaj, chairman of the nonprofit SOMOS Community Care and a member of Mayor Eric Adams’s COVID-19 recovery task force,” except this version featured the deceased “Helmut Kohl of Germany.”

President Biden’s memory and recall is now so bad that even Hillary Clinton called his age a “legitimate problem.”

Hamas Tunnel Network Discovered Under UN Agency That Fired Staffers Over Alleged Terror Links

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have discovered a series of tunnels under a major United Nations agency tied to Hamas and Islamic terrorism in Gaza, the Times of Israel reported on Saturday.

IDF discovered a network of Hamas logistics tunnels and a data hub, featuring electrical rooms, computer servers and living spaces, beneath the U.N. Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), the Times reported on Saturday. UNRWA had multiple sources of funding cut after it was discovered that it employed several staffers who participated in the Oct. 7 Hamas attacks against Israel and many more staffers had ties to Islamic terrorism in the region.

The IDF had little or no previous knowledge about the Hamas tunnels existing under UNRWA’s Gaza headquarters, according to the Times. The logistics and data hub under UNRWA’s headquarters was discovered by Israel’s Shin Bet intelligence service as a result of interrogations of captured Hamas terrorists.

“The IDF was here previously, the first time was to destroy the enemy, but when we were here the last time we collected a lot of intelligence documents and findings, a lot of prisoners, and thanks to this we reached here,” IDF Col. Benny Aharon told the Times. “Now we carried out a targeted operation to take this capability away.”

“We had a basis of information, but not enough to be able to dig down 20 meters and find it, we needed a bit more,” Aharon told the Times. “There’s information we get from prisoners we capture, from computers we find, from documents, maps.”

UNRWA Gaza head of operations Philippe Lazzarini claimed on Saturday he “did not know” that Hamas was operating and conducting logistics underground beneath the agency’s headquarters, according to the Times. “We have not used that compound since we left it [on Oct. 12] nor are we aware of any activity that may have taken place there,” Lazzarini said in a statement on Saturday.

The Coordination of Government Activities in the Territories: Judea and Samaria and towards the Gaza Strip (COGAT), the organization coordinating between Israel and the Palestinian Authority, pushed back on that claim, insisting that UNRWA leadership was aware of Hamas’ activities beneath the tunnels.

“Oh, you knew,” COGAT responded to Lazzarani on Saturday. “Digging a tunnel takes longer than 4 months. We invited senior officials to see, and during past meetings with you and other UN officials, we stated Hamas’s use of UNRWA’s headquarters. You chose to ignore the facts so you can later try and deny them.”

UNRWA fired multiple staffers in late January for their alleged participation in the Hamas Oct. 7 attacks against Israel. It was later discovered that over 1,000 UNRWA staffers had direct ties to Islamic terrorism, according to U.S. intelligence reviewed by The Wall Street Journal.

Multiple Western nations, including the U.S., have suspended funding for UNRWA pending an investigation into the organization’s ties to terrorism.

Israel is carrying out a sweeping counteroffensive against Hamas in Gaza in retaliation for the group’s terrorist attacks on Oct. 7 that killed over 1,200 civilians. The IDF has secured most of north Gaza and is preparing to push into and secure the southernmost part of the region, specifically Rafah, which borders Egypt, according to the WSJ.

UNRWA did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Hillary Clinton Says Biden’s Age is ‘Legitimate Issue’ in Wake of Damning Special Counsel Report

Former First Lady Hillary Clinton says President Biden’s age is a “legitimate” campaign issue, despite the commander-in-chief facing criticism in the wake of a damning special counsel report accusing him of being senile.

“I talked to people in the White House all the time, and you know, they know it’s an issue, but as I like to say, ‘look, it’s a legitimate issue,’” Clinton told MSNBC’s Alex Wagner. “It’s a legitimate issue for [ex-President Donald] Trump who’s only three years younger, right? So it’s an issue.”

The former Democratic presidential nominee and secretary of state also stated during the interview that while Biden and Trump may struggle to connect with younger voters, the president could underline his credentials as a “experienced” leader.

“I think Biden also should lean into the fact that he’s experienced and that experience is not just in the political arena,” she said. “It’s like, the stuff of, you know, human experience, character, wisdom.”

“I think he should be willing to really pull that out … and I think he should kid more about it.”

According to a recent NBC News poll, 76% of respondents are afraid that Biden, 81, is not mentally prepared to serve a second term.

Special counsel Robert Hur’s damning report, released Thursday, concluded that Biden was too senile to face prosecution for his improper possession of confidential papers.

The report found that Joe Biden “willfully” retained and disclosed highly classified materials while a private citizen, including documents about military and foreign policy in Afghanistan and other sensitive national security matters, but no criminal charges were ‘warranted’ against him or anyone else.

Beyond Joe Biden’s unlawful retention and disclosure of highly classified information as a private citizen, Hur’s report details mortifying example of the current president’s lack of recall about events, including when he was vice president.

The U.S. corporate press has long abandoned any pretense of objectivity when it comes to the nation’s politics. Thus, airing Hillary Clinton’s opinion on the matter is a signal that the Democratic Party establishment considers Joe Biden to be a liability.

Thus, Joe Biden’s days as a Democratic presidential candidate may indeed be numbered.

However, Biden’s mental decline is now so serious that the 25th amendment may have to be considered as a pretext to remove the president from office.
